Tobey has been a family friend for many years. With over 30 years Sprint Car experience Tobey was the perfect friend to ask for help when this season started.
An accomplished driver in various cars, Tobey is not only great at car set-up but he is a heck of a driving coach as well.

If it was not for my dad there would never be any racing. My dad does everything from work on car, wash car, look for sponsors, tow race cars everywhere we go, and helps me chase my dream of being a race car driver.
From quarter midgets through focus midgets to sprint car, my dad has made it possible.

My grandpa is always around to help. You can usually find him washing the car in between heats and making sure the car shines for all our fans and sponsors.

New to the team in 2018 he has definitely made him self right at home with Jim Blakesly Racing. A driver by his own rights, Tim feels right at home behind the wrenches working on the 12B sprint car. His knowledge of racing and race cars is a huge benefit to the team.

Jim Blakesley has been a fixture in the sprint car industry for decades. Being a part of Don Blair racing since the beginning, it is to no surprise he continues the tradition with the 12B sprint car. Giving a rookie like Joel the chance to race in the USAC/CRA is a dream come true for any driver. The series is definitely a better sport with Jim Blakesley Involved.
